On the occasion of the Galerie des Solutions (COP21), organised from the 2nd of December until the 9th of December in Le Bourget, Think Smartgrids had the pleasure of welcoming on booth two foreign delegations.
On the 3rd of December 2015, a delegation from Côte d’Ivoire consisting of a dozen of regional councils chairmen has presented their Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC) strategy against Global Warming in the Plenary room of the Galerie.
After this event, conducted in the presence of the Côte d’Ivoire Minister of Energy and Côte d’Ivoire Vice-President of the Regional Assembly, the delegation has expressed interest in the French expertise in the smart grids sector. They consequently shared fruitful ideas with Think Smartgrids representatives on the association’s booth.
On the 7th of December, the Think Smartgrids association welcomed on booth a delegation from Panama. The delegation consisted of Panama Ambassador in France Mrs. Pilar Aorsemena de Aleman, First Vice-Mayor of Panama City Mrs. Raisa Banfield and International Cooperation Bureau Director Milthon Enriquez.
The delegation asked for information about the French expertise in terms of smart grids and about the work of the Think Smartgrids association. She met with Valérie-Anne Lencznar, Managing Director of the association and Michel Bena, Smart grids Director for RTE. She then visited Vivapolis’ booth. Vivapolis federates the French actors of the sustainable city.
