The Conseil National de l’Industrie, le CNI, (French National Industry Council), has labelled it Strategic Sector Committee “industries of new energy systems” sector. The mission of this Strategic Sector Committee (CSF) will be to “support the development of renewable energy, SmartGrids and energy efficiency” around three priorities: “develop an exportable offer of microgrid solutions, propose an acceleration mechanism for SMEs in the sector, and strengthen and consolidate the French industrial offer on the market for equipment and solutions for methanisation”.

The Committee will be chaired by Isabelle Kocher (Engie) with Sylvie Jehanno (Dalkia) as vice-president. The new energy systems sector is an excellent opportunity to help French companies export in the continuity of the actions already carried out.
On this occasion, the National Industry Council announced the signing of a first automotive sector contract, which provides for a “fivefold increase in sales of 100% electric vehicles by the end of 2022”, “guaranteeing the ratio of an accessible charging point for ten vehicles in circulation”, “developing a French and European industrial offer in the battery sector” and finally “creating a competitive French hydrogen sector and developing its uses in mobility”.
